Happy Father’s Day!

I’d like to take moment to thank all the amazing dad’s out there. While it may not always seem like it at times, your kids appreciate everything you do for them…or they will someday. Read the rest of this entry
Once again it’s Father’s Day, that day of the year when we thank our dads for everything they do.
First things first: Happy Father’s Day!
All who forgot that today was Father’s Day, my apologies for posting this so late…and shame on you for being reminded by a blog.
If this was a vlog you’d be getting a full on shameful shake of the head and disappointed look right now…just know that.
Now, on to the Father’s Day blog. Several topics were considered for today. Sports, barbecue, and sports…were all considered…it’s been a long weekend.
In the end I think I chose the most relevant…enjoy:
Dads and technology. They might not all understand it, but I’m pretty sure they all want to.
Facebook’s recent announcement that they’re (finally…apparently) releasing an app for the iPad, I can’t think of a better Father’s Day gift.
I’m of course referring to a Facebook friendship, which he can now easily check on his iPad (or iPad 2), assuming he has one.
It’s the gift that keeps giving, constant access to whatever you so choose to post on Facebook.
And if full disclosure of your online status updates isn’t enough you can bond over configuring the iPad and maybe some brief Facebook tutorials.
I’d suggest focusing on the privacy settings.
Makes you think, doesn’t it? Why didn’t we think of this sooner.
Happy Father’s Day to the Crusades’ Dad and to all the dads out there.
