Crusaders, I have a bone to pick with the weather. After a week of frigid temperatures, a lot of the country is staring down three days of 50-degree days, and I for one do not trust it. Not just because I’ve just fully regained sensation in my face…
It’s the last weekend of January, and here in sunny (I say that with slight irony) Chicago, we’re in the middle of a weather miracle. We’re talking nearly 50 degrees, people.
It’s a good day for the Lorax and tree-lovers everywhere. We officially know how many trees there are on earth (sort of). A recent study calculated the total number of trees on earth to be around 3 trillion.
Well, we’re almost all the way through January and back at a much more tolerable frigid. Many may have even dared to dream of spring. Well you optimists, you, I have some bad news.
For most of the country it’s a cold one out there today, and by cold I mean the freezing point will be a fond sunny memory. Seriously, the high in Chicago today is -12, I didn’t think that was allowed.
