Wicked has changed me for good.

When I stopped foot in the Gershwin Theater 12 years ago, I did not know the impact Wicked would have on my life. It sparked my love for musicals. I do not vivid memories of that night- all I remember was being with my mom and that “Popular” was my favorite song: let’s remember I was 12 at the time. The impact clearly shows. I began to understand what it means to have an emotional connection in a musical because of Wicked. I began to understand the emotional and complex side of musicals because of Wicked. I have seen it three more times since I saw it on Broadway.
