…Get Going

Happy Marathon Monday! Congrats to all those running in the Boston Marathon today. You’re an inspiration.

To the rest of you, it’s time for some Monday motivation.

For the non-runner it may be hard to understand what would motivate someone to run at all, let alone 26.2 miles.

After all, we invented countless ways to get us from point A to point B with minimal effort.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, are those who don’t see running as a challenge. It’s a simple process of right foot, left foot, and repeat until you reach the finish line.

Of course, anyone who’s run a longer race can tell you the hardest hurdles in running are the mental ones. Some days you have to trick yourself into enjoying it.

Which is something the non-runners can relate to, especially on a Monday.
