…bear in mind

This Sunday Funday brings us the BAFTAs (which are happening as I write this…no spoilers please), a reminder that even the non-U.S. film awards tend to nominate the exact same actors.

Of course, there are exceptions to every rule and for me this year’s stand out also happens to be the only film in recent history to both attain and retain a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s not “Lady Bird” and it’s not “Black Panther” it’s “Paddington 2” the little star-studded sequel that could.

Today, “Paddington 2” and its three BAFTA nominations (Outstanding British Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Hugh Grant for Best Supporting Actor) stand side by side epic dramas and Hollywood heavy hitters as a testament to hard work and optimism…

…and of course a nod to the necessity of silly…

…seriouly, silliness should never be taken lightly…

…the promise of silly is what makes all those far more serious moments bearable…

So, don’t forget to find a moment for silly today and every day….

…bi-daily smile…
