…open up

tennis

Today one of the U.S. Open champions will be decided. This comes after a semifinal round which featured not one, not two, but four U.S. women, which is incredible. Am I right, ladies?

And just to add a bit more excitement to the mix, we have an unseeded player Sloane Stephens taking on no. 15 Madison Keys, and both players overcame some incredibly talented players to get here, Venus Williams among others. And that, my friends, has the makings of one incredible final battle this afternoon.

Oh, and the men’s final is tomorrow and I’m sure it will be entertaining as well, but I mean come on, two underdog Americans who defied the odds to make it to the top, that’s a feel-good story there. They may not have the prime time slot, but they sure do have the prime time story.

While it’s fun to watch the superstars do what they do best, these star-making moments are the ones that truly delight. So I hope you’ll join me and make a racket about this incredible tennis moment and tune in.
