…Work Out

Happy Labor Day! To all those not in the U.S., happy Monday…

This extra-long weekend is brought to us by the hard workers of the US of A. So naturally we celebrate by giving ourselves the day off.

Before you judge, ask yourself what the point of working hard is if you don’t get to play hard too.

There’s been a lot of talk recently about American “greatness,” and a day dedicated to the workers of America seems like a good day to reflect on this quality.

While greatness is subjective, I would argue one of the things that has made us and continues to make us great is our work ethic. There’s a toughness and tenacity at the heart of the American spirit. We strive to do our best, and when and where it’s possible, improve.

We also know how to appreciate a job well done, which is why we get today off. And on that note, I’ll leave you to enjoy the rest of your well-deserved day off.

…just for fun:

Without the maintenance guy at the ballpark, would you even want to go to a game? If the hotel maids didn’t do a good job, would anyone want to stay? Take a moment to thank the people who do the work behind the scenes that let’s us enjoy our daily lives…
