Happy Groundhog Day!
This year’s rodent-inspired forecast is already in, and it’s official, we’re having an early spring!
At least that’s according to the most beloved of all groundhog meteorologists, Punxsutawney Phil, who did not see his shadow today. Believe it or not, Phil is not one to give away early spring predictions.
In fact, today’s early spring prediction is only the 18th (on record), and he’s been doing this since 1887. That’s something to think about.
Of course, his accuracy record, well that’s another story. Plus it kind of ruins the magic that is Groundhog Day.
So, whether it’s unseasonably warm where you are, or freakishly cold, take heart in the fact that winter may soon (or not so soon) be over.
