…make your excuses

Yes, it’s another blog post on the health benefits of chocolate, because like chocolate itself, there’s no such thing as too much when it comes to justifying chocolate consumption.

I’ll make no apologies, any chance I have to write about the health benefits of chocolate I will take, especially now that fears of a world without it are being eased…Yes, the supply of chocolate is being threatened, but it’s Thanksgiving week, so I’m focusing on the thankfulness I feel that I can still (for now) enjoy the health benefits of this sweet treat.

Besides, what better way to start a holiday week than with a little something sweet (and good for you)?

The key my friends, in all things in moderation, and chocolate (especially dark chocolate) in moderation (that’s about 1.7 ounces per week) will basically make you a superhero, a very heart healthy, de-stressed superhero. So, sit back relax and enjoy your relaxing, heart-healthy treat while you can…perhaps it’s soothing capabilities will help you deal with its (potential) impending doom.
