It’s astounding time is fleeting, and once again madness takes its toll.
Okay, so technically time is the opposite of fleeting in this specific instance. And unless your completely unaware of the time change this weekend, then madness probably won’t be knelling for you tomorrow.
However, time is warping again tonight.
At precisely 2 a.m. we gain back that hour that was stolen from us last spring when Daylight Saving Time ends.
Just to be clear, you only need to change your clocks once. Otherwise you risk getting stuck in a never ending loop where it’s always sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. (the dangers of DST).
Aside from that highly improbable scenario, the end of DST is a relatively exciting time. For one day we find ourselves with an extra hour. Plus, if you’re lucky your internal clock won’t catch on to the time change for at least a few days.
This extra hour has such potential. How often do many of us wish we had this extra hour in our days to deal with our busy lives?
Now for this brief time this hour is once again ours. You could begin writing your novel; clean out the attic; organize your shoe collection; start drafting a plan for world peace; or (my personal favorite) catch up on some much needed sleep.
The hour is yours, use it wisely.
…oh, and don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour tonight.
…just for fun:
