There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so
William Shakespeare, Hamlet II.ii
Oh William Shakespeare and your timeless wisdom…we could use some right now.
I’m sure most of you heard the little statistic that came out a week or so ago that found nearly one-fifth of the U.S. believes that President Obama is Muslim.
For anyone who hadn’t…now you have…however I’m thinking most of the one-fifth missed that statistic.
Don’t worry I’m not going to get too political or ideological about this.
I’ll keep it light, but I had to ask one question…does it really matter?
OK, so that’s not really a question so much as my way of saying it shouldn’t matter.
The real question here is how willing are we to believe everything we hear?
With the advancement of technology just about anyone can get information out there (case and point…me), but (I can’t believe I’m writing this cliché) you shouldn’t believe everything you read.
I know there’s a lot of media out there and its sometimes hard to see clearly through the din of constant information, but we have to try.
It’s that or concede to believing that everyone is lying to us and the “other” is evil; and paranoia doesn’t look good on anyone.
Plus wool is super itchy…so let’s not be sheep.

…and something lighter
