…make your choice

Well folks we’re down to the wire.  It’s going to be rough, but pretty soon a decision will have to be made.

Sure there’s a lot to take into consideration.  Politics, personal inclinations, popularity, but you’ve had time plenty of time.

Hopefully you’ve been doing your homework, keeping up to date on central issues and current events, sorting your options, and now it’s time to decide what’s really important to you and make up your mind.

It may not be easy, but you can only weigh your options for so long. It’s the weekend before Halloween, it’s time to pick a costume.

Guys and girls, there’s a lot to take into consideration: politics, pop culture, and the amount of effort you’re willing to put into this endeavor.

Of course the movies have given us plenty of inspiration.  For the guys there are (per usual) plenty of superheroes and supervillains to choose from, or perhaps some 007 this being his 50th anniversary and all.

For the gals (beyond the degrading and predictable sexy/slutty animal of uniformed worker of your choice) we have some pretty kick-ass female roles to choose from between: Katniss, Cat Woman, or the Black Widow (because if you’re going to insist on wearing a skin-tight leather costume at least be strong female character wearing a skin-tight leather costume).

Then there’s the world of political puns, this being an election year and all.  The women of this great nation thank you Gov. Romney for creating one of the easiest political statement costumes ever, because who doesn’t own a binder? Happy Halloween costuming to all!
