…Take a Seat


Last week marked a huge milestone for everyone’s favorite online form of procrastination—Facebook.

The social neworking juggernaut reached 1 billion users.

This number is impressive, but what’s more impressive is it’s not what people are talking about. In an attempt to start attracting it’s next 1 billion users, Facebook released its first video ad.

Yes, Facebook managed to distract the online community from its own achievement.

Comparing itself to other things that bring people together, Facebook informed the world that it’s like a chair.

While it may not be your first thought for what connects people, it does kind of make sense (sort of).

Chairs are quite often present when Facebook is used. And much like Facebook (for some), a chair is something we all use everyday.

Although, it does beg the question — what type of chair?
