Happy National Coffee Day! For those of us who love the stuff (or require it to form coherent thoughts before noon), don’t need a special day to honor it.  Mondays work just fine.  However, it’s nice that the rest of you can take a day out of the year to honor this magic bean.

The addicts…I mean enthusiasts among us sing its praises 365 and today will be no different.  While the rest of you venture out to enjoy the holiday we’ve all had our fixes, probably several times over considering the number of free coffee promotions going on today.

Everyday is National Coffee Day for those who can’t live without it. It’s not a problem if you don’t admit to it, or mind being constantly hyped (which is code for vibrating out of your skin), but you’re awake gosh darn it.  So celebrate this magical brew nation.  Appreciate it for all that it is, and for Christ’s sake don’t forget to set it to start brewing at 6 on Monday.
