…Tune In

Despite summer’s best efforts, autumn is once again here.  The days have shortened, the temperatures have cooled and soon the television will improve (hopefully).

Yes, fellow couch potatoes, it’s time for fall TV.

This year brings back some old favorites, some former newbies and some new shows with potential.

Of course, with every new TV season comes the inevitable question—What am I going to watch?

Unless, you plan on spending every waking hour catching up on your television programs, a system has to be implemented.

With the number of programs available, the intelligent TV viewer has to be discerning.  Personally, I’ve instituted a “three strikes you’re out” policy (there are always exceptions).  If a program fails to make an impression after three episodes, it gets cut.

And yes, that rule does apply to shows that I’ve been watching for years.  If I’m going to spend a half hour to an hour of my life watching a program, I want some actual effort put into making it entertaining.

…be sure and check back tomorrow for 2WC’s Emmy blog…
