Anyone reading this before 8 AM. I salute you and assume that you’ve already downed at least a cup and a half of coffee.
I also have some good news for you, according to yet another study, that cup of coffee may save your life. Yes, according to an MSNBC headline, coffee drinkers are less likely to die.
I have bad news for you too. The final sentence of the previous paragraph is inherently flawed.
Spoiler alert: there is 100% chance that you’re going to die.
Sorry to crush that dream you java-driven warriors, but coffee will not make you immortal. The search continues…
I hate to start your day with such a downer, but your coffee should help you deal with that blow. It won’t protect you from your own mortality, but it won’t kill you any faster. Small victory, but it’s something.
The entire truth be told, the study actually found that coffee drinkers participating in the 14 year study were 10 percent less likely to die during the study.
No word on what coffee does for your memory, but given the fact that this study seems to be redone every six months, it doesn’t look good…
