…talk to the hand

This blog is not about palm-reading.  I only just realized it might appear to be.  Sorry, all aspiring clairvoyants, I hope you can contain the disappointment.

This blog is about gesturing, or talking with your hands.  I have been known to do it…a lot.  I’m a waving, hand-talker.

If you made me sit on my hands I wouldn’t be able to carry on a conversation, and guess what…it’s normal.

It would seem that using your hands as well as words to express yourself is completely natural.  It’s an extension of spoken language.  It’s how we’re wired.

In fact, it’s amazing that some of you can carry on a conversation without providing visual aid at all times.

Did I just construct an entire blog around something that I’ve been told is out of the ordinary and over the top about my way of speaking?

Yes, yes I did.  So, if someone could get started on a study that finds Internet vindication is a completely normal and natural way of expressing oneself that would be great.
