…Pump Up

The count begins today.  Another summer of blockbusters is nearly upon us, and 2WC will once again be bringing you our four cents on hollywood’s finest explosively awesome popcorn cinema.

To kick it off, we’re counting down to our first film, “The Avengers” with a recap of the four Marvel heroes who make up the heart of the Avengers.

Up first…Iron Man

He may not be the man of steel, but he is Robert Downey Jr.

Redefining the B-list superhero, the “Iron Man,” film series gives hope to all the young up and coming vigilantes.

He may not have super-human strength, or have been exposed to gamma rays, but he does have a whole lot of money and a brilliant mind (even if he’s a bit sarcastic at times).

Plus, he is also Robert Downey Jr., who, let’s face it, is the reason these movies are great.

We can only hope his charisma doesn’t overwhelm the Avengers crew. Although in a group of over-sized superheroes and demi-gods, maybe he’ll be a nice change of pace.
