…Clean Up

“The Help,” cleaned up again at the box office this weekend.

Blame it on the weather, the planets aligning or whatever else you want. It doesn’t change the fact that this little-film-that-could has taken down the big, bad, late summer flicks two weeks in a row.

While this week’s line-up isn’t quite as satisfying as last week’s “Conan,”(not even in the top five), it does boast an impressive list of star power (Zoe Saldana and Paul Rudd to name a few).

Okay, so maybe “The Help” isn’t quite so little (Disney has their name on it after all), and it’s not exactly killing at the box office; $14 million isn’t exactly an intimidating number.

But it fits the film quite nicely. It’s not big or flashy, but it does it’s job and it does it well.
