…Weather the Storm

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (not a bad choice given the recent weather), you’ve noticed that recently there’s been a high percentage of less than ideal weather.

So, tomorrow’s celebration of World Environment Day could not have come at a better time.

This global event created by the United Nations Environment Program provides us with the perfect excuse to make some major amends for our wrong doing towards Mother Earth (she is pissed off).

Now since we’re not sure what specific offense we’re apologizing for, it’s best to cover all the bases.  Some ideas for celebrating the environment:

• Recycle (also a good practice for everyday)
• Gardening (flowers never hurt)
• Walking (exercise and good for the environment–two birds one stone)
• Virgin Sacrifice (just kidding, step away from the sacrificial altar)

And remember it’s not the gift, but the thought that counts.  So prepare your metaphorical (or literal) olive branches, and get ready for some heavy-duty peacemaking.
